Rock Creek’s Disaster Relief Unit is part of a national network
consisting of over 2,000 mobile units (feeding, chainsaw, mud-out,
command, communication, child care, shower, laundry, water
purification, repair/rebuild, generators, and others) and 88,000
trained volunteers.
Our unit is a “chainsaw” unit. We help
homeowners who have suffered a loss from a natural disaster. Our unit removes debris, trees and does temporary repairs of damaged roofs. The people we help are
relieved to know that they do not have to struggle through this crisis
alone. We want them to know
they are not alone and that God has sent us to care for them in these extremely challenging circumstances.
