Rock Creek works with Feed the Children. We support the feeding center in Hacienda Los Labores. This town is just over two hours east of the capital of San Salvador. Most of the coffee plantations in this region have closed down. The result is massive unemployment with the consequent hunger and desperation.

This feeding center feeds 122 children three meals a week. We are in the process of building a community center in this village. The community center will ultimately house a job-training program, medical clinics, the feeding center, a day care and Bible studies.

Our vision is to help the people of La Labor overcome the poverty, disease and lack of education that create a sense of hopelessness. We believe that only by doing this can the good news of Jesus Christ be understood and welcomed in all its fullness.
