What does a Breakout small group look like?
Breakout is
designed to guide children, grades 2-5, toward spiritual maturity.
Similar to Rock Creek’s Life Development Classes, the areas of growth
covered in Breakout are Knowing Christ, Growing in Christ, Serving
Christ, and Sharing Christ. Children complete a lesson from their book
at home each week and then discuss their homework with their small
group. Each group exchanges prayer requests and spends time praying for
one another. Joining a Breakout small group does not take the place of
attending a Rock Creek Kid weekend service.
Children meet
weekly on the church campus on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 P.M. Students
complete a lesson from their book at home each week and then discuss
their homework with their small group. Each group exchanges prayer
requests and spends time praying for one another. They have a new
understanding of Christ and experience change.

Personality, Experiences) and how they can best use their God-given
abilities. Children are encouraged to serve in a ministry whild
studying this book. They will also learn what it means to have personal
time with Jesus and be encouraged to spend time with Him daily.
BREAK OUT (Book 4)- for returning students who have completed “Break Away.”
The fourth book, “Break Out,” focuses on “Sharing Christ.” Each child
will learn and discuss topics such as evangelism, service, and
missions. Each child will have the opportunity to write and teach their
