Kid's Quest

What does Kid’s Quest small group look like?

Kid’s Quest is designed for children K5 - 1st grade and helps children discover the life of Jesus.  The children are placed in small groups during the school year.  Each week their children have an interactive story time, make an art project, play a game, say their memory verse, and learn to worship God through music.

Children meet weekly on the church campus on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 P.M.  Every group has two leaders with 8-10 children. Your child will be with the same leader and students all year. In addition to regularly attending the small group, children are expected to complete homework with the help of a parent and memorize one Bible verse per week.

Breakout

What does a Breakout small group look like?

Breakout is designed to guide children, grades 2-5, toward spiritual maturity.  Similar to Rock Creek’s Life Development Classes, the areas of growth covered in Breakout are Knowing Christ, Growing in Christ, Serving Christ, and Sharing Christ.  Children complete a lesson from their book at home each week and then discuss their homework with their small group.  Each group exchanges prayer requests and spends time praying for one another.  Joining a Breakout small group does not take the place of attending a Rock Creek Kid weekend service.

Children meet weekly on the church campus on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 P.M.  Students complete a lesson from their book at home each week and then discuss their homework with their small group.  Each group exchanges prayer requests and spends time praying for one another.   They have a new understanding of Christ and experience change.
