About
Mission Statement
Taking Jesus as He is to people as they are.
Taking. Because sitting back and being comfortable is not an option. We're commanded to "go" and make disciples -- wherever hurting people are to be found.
Jesus as He is. No figure in human history has been as misrepresented as Jesus — but even a cursory reading of the Gospels paints a portrait of the God-Man who is the friend of sinners, compassionate and forgiving, the very essence of love and acceptance. He hasn't changed.
To people as they are. Not people as we imagine them to be, or want them to be — but just the way they actually are. Hurting, hiding, addicted, petty, abused, ashamed, you name it. In the presence of Jesus, no pretending is needed, no masks required.
